Water Systems
Moody Point draws its water from three bedrock wells. Water flows from the wells into two 12,500 gallon atmospheric storage tanks. It is then pumped into a 5,200 gallon hydro-pneumatic storage tank. Currently, this water does not require any treatment. The Water Systems committee is responsible for the testing and maintenance of these wells and the system that delivers it to the Moody Point community.
Moody Point owns the sewer collection system and lift station that pumps sewage about one mile to the town collection system on Bay Road. Piscataqua Environmental Services monitors the sewer system and provides both regularly scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs.
