Mission
To protect and preserve the vitality of Moody Point by managing a healthy environment on MPCA Common Land (Lots 4, 6, & 11).
Role
- Protect, maintain and make recommendations regarding appropriate screening on Moody Point common land and shoreline buffer in accordance with the Shoreline Protection Act.
- Encourage biodiversity by maintaining the different habitats and desired tree stands that we have today.
- Oversee, report and make recommendations on the safety and condition of the walking trail system.
- To oversee and report on the condition of the screen house and decking, dock and kayak racks.
- Oversee, report and make recommendations on the condition of the screen house and decking, dock, bridge, benches, signs and kayak racks.
- Oversee, report and make recommendations for all view management programs on Moody Point common land.
- Schedule, coordinate and direct volunteer efforts on the MPCA common lands.
- Educate and guide our membership regarding the stewardship of our common lands.
