Environmental Committee
The Environmental Committee is responsible for protecting the vitality
of Moody Point by managing a healthy environment on MPCA Common Land (Lots
4, 6, & 11).
Goals
- To protect and maintain appropriate screening on Moody Point common
land and shoreline buffer in accordance with the Shoreline Protection
Act.
- To encourage biodiversity by maintaining the different habitats and
desired tree stands that we have today.
- To oversee and report on the
safety and condition of the walking trail system.
- To oversee and report
on the condition of the screen house and decking, dock and kayak racks.
- To
arrange for all view management programs on Moody Point common land.
- To schedule, coordinate and direct volunteer efforts on the MPCA
common lands.
- To educate and guide our membership regarding the stewardship
of our common lands.
